[TRANS] 130707 TVXQ’s First US Concert Ends In Great Success ‘The Red Sea Flows Into LA’

With a world tour underway, TVXQ have been captivating fans in Hong Kong, China, Malaysia and now Los Angeles in the United States.

TVXQ held their ‘TVXQ! LIVE WORLD TOUR – CATCH ME in LOS ANGELES’ concert on the 5th at 8pm (LA time) at the Nokia Theatre in LA, USA. Around 7,000 fans gathered at the venue to enjoy TVXQ’s first US concert, creating a sight to see with a sea of red.

At the Nokia Theatre, which has been graced by singers such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Ne-yo and Enrique Iglesias, TVXQ performed a total of 25 songs for the concert. Their performance featured hit songs such as ‘Catch Me’, ‘Rising Sun’, ‘Why? Keep Your Head Down’, ‘Mirotic’ and ‘Before U Go’, as well as solo stages by U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin of ‘Honey Funny Bunny’ and the American R&B singer Maxwell’s ‘Whenever Wherever Whatever’ respectively.

After the opening stage, Max Changmin had everyone more excited as he said, “We’ve prepared a great performance tonight to repay the 10 years of waiting that our US fans have gone through to see us perform.”

As the 5th of July is the day after America’s Independence Day (July 4th – national holidy), fans from other US cities such as New York, San Francisco and San Diego, as well as fans from Mexico and Canada gathered in LA, proving just how popular TVXQ is around the world.

After finishing the concert, U-Know Yunho stated, “We were surprised to see audience members in their 50s and 60s amidst our younger fans. We were surprised yet again by the great response we received from our fans,” and “Tonight was our first concert in the US and it’s been such a special day for both TVXQ and our fans. We will never forget today’s performance.”

Meanwhile, TVXQ will also be greeting their international fans in Santiago, Chile’s Teatro Caupolican on the 7th, and Shanghai’s Mercedes-Benz Arena on the 20th.
