Top K-pop acts TVXQ!, Super Junior and BEAST will heat up a Japanese music festival next month.
The three leading boy groups joined a newly-announced lineup for Japan’s annual summer music event a-nation, the festival’s official website showed Friday.
TVXQ! and Super Junior, lablemates at major K-pop agency SM Entertainment, will headline a-nation stadium fes., the music festival’s main event held in Osaka and Tokyo at the end of August.
The two top bands will first hit Osaka’s Nagai Stadium on August 25 with top Japanese singer Koda Kumi, then jump to Tokyo’s Ajinomoto Stadium on August 31 which will co-star Japanese pop duos Every Little Thing and Do As Infinity.
BEAST will join a-nation’s “Asia Progress ~ Blue Ocean” stage at the National Gymnasia for Tokyo Olympics’s first stadium on August 5, where Korean idol group U-KISS has confirmed their appearance.
Big Bang’s Taeyang has also confirmed his participation in a-nation’s special stage by Japanese m-flo’s VERBAL, set to be held at the Tokyo Olympics’s first stadium on August 11.
