JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong appeared in a historical MBC drama for the first time on May 26 in the first episode of ‘Time Slip Dr. Jin’. Kim Jaejoong plays a character named Kim Kyung Tak. Kyung Tak works for a division in the police bureau that existed during the ancient times in Korea. Kyung Tak is very gifted in martial arts and he is very prideful as well as competitive.

Kim Kyung Tak always wants to win the fight and he never lets anybody see his tears or fears. Even in the second episode of ‘Time Slip Dr. Jin’ Kyung Tak appeared with the same mentality in front of the audience. Viewers praised Kim Jaejoong for his impressive performance as Kyung Tak.

However, even tough guys like Kim Kyung Tak, always have at least one person they completely open up to. Young Rae (Park Min Young) is the persona that Kyung Tak has a soft spot for in ‘Time Slip Dr. Jin.’ Female viewers fell in love with Kim Jaejoong after seeing the difference in the way Kyung Tak looked at Young Rae. Kyung Tak always looks at her with eyes filled with adoration and love.

At the end of episode 1 and beginning of episode 2, Jin Hyuk (Song Seung Hun) becomes time slipped into the Chosun Dynasty and a love triangle develops. The love triangle involving Jin Hyuk, Kim Kyung Tak and Young Rae is becoming the main focus of the viewers as it seems to be heading into a very dramatic maze filled with issues.

Although it is Kim Jaejoong’s first attempt at a historical drama, his performance is highly praised for his natural voice tone and acting skills. The viewer’s seem to have accepted him with welcoming hands.
