The May 23 broadcast of SBS’ Rooftop Princeshowed the three subjects, Do Chi San (Choi Woo Sik), Woo Yong Sool (Jung Seok Won) and Song Man Bo (Lee Min Ho), and Crown Prince Lee Gak (Park Yoo Chun) return to the Joseon time period.
Yong Tae Moo (Lee Tae Sung) was arrested by the police and Hong Se Na (Jung Yu Mi) turned herself in. It was then time for the Crown Prince crowd to return to Joseon. They stayed in the present, however, for one thing: Lee Gak and Park Ha’s (Han Ji Min) marriage.
While preparing for the wedding, the three subjects started disappearing one by one, and Park Ha was continuously reminded that they were short on time. She tried to enjoy her time with Lee Gak while she could, and held onto his hand when they were eating, walking and even sleeping.
Park Ha and Lee Gak then finally held their own little wedding on the rooftop. After exchanging their vows, they kissed, and Lee Gak’s body started to disappear. Park Ha sobbed at how she had sent Lee Gak away without even getting to say goodbye. The sad and beautiful wedding brought together a love that had stayed unfulfilled for 300 years.
The episode came to a close with Park Ha saying in tears what she didn’t get to say to Lee Gak. Viewers were left exploding with curiosity on where the Crown Prince crowd would turn out to be and whether Yong Tae Yong (Park Yoo Chun) was still alive.
Some viewers guessed that Yong Tae Yong could wake up and get together with Park Ha, while others said that Lee Gak could come back through another time slip. Which will Park Ha end up with in the end, Lee Gak or Yong Tae Yong? The answer will be revealed in the last episode of Rooftop Prince to be aired on May 24.
